Thanks for your response! I’ve seen people who are very upset when people repost their scans without proper credit, and I can see that point of view, but ultimately I’m with you. I’m fortunate to have a decent collection of old stuff and I’m sure fans of said items would appreciate seeing them too. I’m relatively new to tumblr and my first few posts were nicked photos because I had no idea how this thing worked, but I’m a little more aware of protocol now. I will assume those who post my scans as their own are newcomers… Perhaps it is an outdated notion, but I do like manners and etiquette so this is just a very slight pet peeve of mine.

My pleasure! I’m a fan of etiquette and manners as well, so I can certainly appreciate this slight pet peeve. By the way, thanks for your fabulous scans! I started a Tumblr not too long ago because I noticed people were sharing great scans on here, and since I have a somewhat insane old magazine collection, I figured it would be nice to contribute (not to mention follow people who post good stuff so that I don’t miss out, haha.) I still don’t know half of how Tumblr functions since I only use it to post and to track a few blogs, but so far I haven’t caused anything to catch fire, so that’s good.
